Good costume design adds texture to your story. It helps to tell the story of your characters life previous to where your narrative begins.
My experience across all areas of the costume department plays a part in delivering the finished product. From the cut and tailoring through to the amount of ‘breakdown’ or ‘distressing’, this level of attention to detail ensures everything looks the part.
I have wanted to be a costume designer since I was a child and started working towards this career while I was still in high school. After my formal college education in design, I stared my apprenticeship as a trainee costume designer in Dublin Ireland. I have dedicated more than 30 years to mastering my craft.
