I approach costume design as a creative business. My success comes from systems and processes I have developed over the years. My tried and tested tactics range from logistical planning to budgeting and accounts. Having systems already in place allows me to focus on creatively collaborating with the director and the cast to help tell the story
IIn season 3 of Moone Boy, Every episode was an opportunity to create costumes from the sublime to the fabulous. Here are some images of the 1930’s jive talkin’ American (Imaginary) friend. Early 20th century is one of my favourite costume periods. I was in my element creating these looks.
There is no higher compliment than knowing an actor feels great when they are wearing what you have designed for them.
