After the release of my first app ‘iCostume’, I began exploring new ways to improve communication and collaboration across creative teams in the film industry.
Since 2015, I have won several awards in the digital space, including winning a ‘IP hack-a-thon’ at Bell Labs. I have pitched my business on stage at the worlds largest tech summit, and secured funding in a highly competitive space.
It started with an innovative idea, and I turned my idea into a digital platform, and went on to to launch my product live on one of the largest television series in the world.
I was the founder and CEO of my own digital ‘Start-up’ I was one of 10 founders selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in Irelands number 1 business accelerator programme. I successfully secured funding, I led a team of developers and designers, and launched version 1.0 of a live collaboration tool. I successfully secured live trials with paying customers.
My time as CEO of this company has been the greatest assest to my career to date. I have a much deeper understanding of the challenges each individual department struggle with, my market research and live trials have granted me a first hand view of the challenges producers face day to day. Above all, I have extended my knowledge and gained invaluable training and experience in business and leadership.
